I am a thirty-something pagan and witch from the UK and I use they/them pronouns.

I first dabbled with eclectic Wicca as a teenager and in my early adulthood. I came back to paganism via Hellenic Polytheism, my ‘main’ faith, over 6 years ago and shortly after began practicing magic.

I use a combination of Ancient Greek techniques with English folk magic in my witchcraft. This necessitates a bit of folk Christianity too, but the way I go about it is probably more than a little heretical. I do blend in modern practices too, however: just because something’s old doesn’t mean it’s good, and likewise, new does not mean bad or inauthentic.

Religiously, I would identify as an Omnist, meaning I believe in every god and spirit and see at least a kernel of truth in every religion I have studied. However, as already stated, my chosen primary faith in Hellenic Polytheism. In particular, I have the strongest connection with Apollon and Aphrodite, although I do honour other gods as well. My approach to this faith leans towards revivalism and making it fit modern life, but I back this up with a strong reconstructionist’s love for academic study.

I have also developed an interest in the lore and practice of working with the Good Neighbours recently, as well as looking into the different fairy faiths of United Kingdom.

Alongside these practices, I also divine with Tarot and oracle cards. My favourites are, respectively, the Paws Tarot and the Citadel oracle. I occasionally offer free one-card readings of these on my Instagram stories and Threads account.
